Two matches this week the first of which was on Hacketts Lakes, a venue that I really enjoy fishing.I pulled out peg 21 which I felt was a bit too far up the lake for my liking after such a cold night. My worst fears were confirmed and with only 15 mins to go I’d only had 2 bites and two 2 skimmers! I decided to end the match by  dropping over my short pellet line with an 8mm Pellet on the hook and I was rewarded with two quick fish and finished with just under 19lb.
