Mitchies multi rig success on first outing with Noble Baits OP-31

Here's what Andy had to say about his first outing with the OP-31.

It was my first session out on the bank at my new Nuddock wood Syndicate lake and I'd heard some good things about a new bait originating in Newark, Notts.

After finding my spot I set about spodding around 3kg of op31 on the spot around 60yrds out.

I followed that with the same amount of fishery pellet.

The rig of choice was a multi-rig

With a snowman presentation, op31 boosted hookbait and garlic popup.

After around 2hrs is was apparent the fish had moved in on the spot as the fizzing bubbles were really starting to get more intense.

A short time later the first carp of the session was on the bank. A 16lb common.

In followed a further 1kg of op31.

The following morning the middle rod ripped off resulting in an absolute stunning mirror known as Scrappy Doo,  1 of the A-Team and at 34lb 8oz it was a new pb for me.

4 more mid doubles followed through out the day.

3:45am and the right hand rod took off, after an epic battle of 20 minutes the second lump was in the net. A 34lb 4oz common known as christine, another A-team member and a new common pb, the second of the trip.

1 more smaller mirror followed before my session ended.

Iv been using a high profile bait from the start of the year with little results.

My tactics were exactly the same, rigs, bait application, the lot.

The only difference was the noble baits op31.

IMO, it is by far, the best bait I have used.

My results speak for themselves

Absolutely brilliant bait. Andy
